Welcome to our handy guide to awards with deadlines coming up in August and September. While the number of awards deadlines starts to calm slightly after busy July, there is still plenty of credible recognition to be gained.

Employer awards, Business awards, Leadership awards, HR awards and training awards

The King’s Awards for Enterprise has opened for 2026 – while the 9th September deadline may seem far afield, these are a beast of an entry so you need to start now or you will not be able to get everything you need together to enter in time. If you are looking for an international general business award, The TITAN Business Awards and TITAN Women in Business Awards both share a final deadline 6th August but will extend and include loads of categories, so something suitable for everyone. 

The Stevie Awards run a number of very well-established awards programmes – so if you are looking for international recognition definitely consider The Stevie® Awards for Women in Business (deadline 20th August).  

Are you running a small business in the UK? Then the Best of United Kingdom Small Business Awards (BASA Awards) are definitely a great choice with 20th August deadline. Also keep an eye out for the behemoth that is The HR Excellence Awards (now helpfully extended until 5th September) – let us know if you want help with your entry as we are very experienced and successful entering these. 

Plenty of credible awards coming up in the world of training. A firm favourite of ours, The Investors in People Awards (29th August) should be high on your list, as well as the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence (5th September) and The Learning Awards (12st September) which we have proudly won for ourselves in the past! Customer service awards

Lots of the biggest awards in the calendar are coming up! Lets try and mention the main ones – Engage Awards (13th August) uniquely cover both customer and employee experience; get global recognition by entering the International Customer Experience Awards by 22nd August; the UKCCF National Contact Centre Awards which closes 1st August but we hope will announce an extension; and finally, keep an eye on the horizon for the ICS UK Customer Satisfaction Awards (17th October).      

Finance awards 

The world of financial services is a broad umbrella, but here are a few to keep an eye out for in the coming months – Insurance Times Awards (5th September), Professional Adviser Awards (19th September), Pensions Age Awards (10th October) and the very prestigious Card and Payments Awards further afield with 26th September deadline. 

Marketing, Events and PR awards

There are a large number of credible marketing and creative awards that have launched, so I won’t mention them all, but some that focus on particular areas of digital marketing that should be on your radar include: Muse Creative Awards (14th August), Vega Digital Awards (22nd August), UK Search Awards open until 18th September, and of course the many categories available at the Drum Awards Festival (4th September).

Education and Care awards

The Elysian Awards are unique in that they recognise individuals and organisations who create meaningful impact through innovative, person-centred approaches in care, education, enrichment, and community initiatives. If this is an area that you are involved in be sure to enter by 25th September. 

Tech awards

Special mention for this month goes to the technology and computing sectors, and a few awards programmes in particular – the ever-popular Tech Trailblazers Awards (extended to 26th September), National DevOps Awards (19th September), Brandon Hall Group Technology Excellence Awards (12th September) and an exciting new award in the world of lifestyle and culture, the DaVinci Awards (26th September).
