Help with presentations
Have you been announced as an awards finalist or made it onto the shortlist? Congratulations! It’s quite likely now though that there is another hurdle you have to jump – about 1 in 5 awards programmes have a second-round stage, which typically involves a face-to-face presentation and a Q&A session with a judging panel, who tend to be industry experts.
With so many things to consider and a judging date looming, you may well feel overwhelmed. We are here to help! From planning/story-boarding, script writing, designing PowerPoint or Prezi presentations and even running rehearsals, Boost Awards will make sure you wow the judging panel.
How we can help…
Research
Undertaking background research into other finalists, scoring systems, judges and any other insights which might gain you an advantage. This is where our relationship with awards organisers helps tremendously.
Script and visuals
We can bring your written entry to life by helping you decide on an angle for your pitch, the new insights you could bring to the judges’ attention, the timings and structure of your presentation and who should present. We are also rather good at PowerPoint and Prezi. If you need to create a video, we can produce this for you using our external partners.

Presentation and Q&A rehearsal
A judge can spot an unrehearsed presentation in seconds. By having a member of the Boost team at your dress rehearsal, we will ensure that you not only master the delivery, but have some prepared answers for the questions that the judges are likely to throw at you.
Why use Boost?
This isn’t just about writing a presentation and preparing some visuals for you, it is about leveraging our awards expertise and our experience as awards judges to give you the strongest possible chance:
1
We identify and address the gaps that the judges will have spotted in your written entry – we don’t regurgitate your written submission, we build on it.
2
We uncover who your competition is, who your judges are and their ‘hot buttons’ – and use it to inform the direction of your presentation.
3
We know the questions you are likely to be asked, we’ll ensure you have the right answers at the ready.
